(N.V. Fedorov, from the Message

State Council)

Explanatory note.

One of the areas of work of the school in the summer is environmental focus. For this purpose, the educational institution provides for the creation of a specialized environmental team. The creation of specialized environmental teams is one of the most effective forms of environmental education, since it combines environmental holidays, lectures, excursions, observations and research. experiments with natural objects, environmental games, environmental and psychological trainings, reading fiction on environmental topics, game-based learning situations. The program provides practical, environmentally oriented and creative activities for children. Theoretical knowledge is consolidated in practice. Thus, the process of training and education is built according to the algorithm of scientific research: a review of the literature and a detailed study of known data about objects or subjects of research (theory), then practical acquaintance with the object or subject of research in nature.

Along with traditional forms of work, theatrical games and performances are used. Theatrical activities are one of the non-traditional forms of environmental education and upbringing of children. Non-traditional, because children reveal environmental problems through costumed theatrical performances with the inclusion of poems, songs, dances, which are aimed at protecting and caring for nature.

Ecological theater, along with others, also carries a serious educational goal: to explain to children the need to take care of the pristine purity of nature, to show the ugliness of consumer recreation that pollutes everything around.

The “ECOS” squad (ecological theater) is being created on the basis of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Secondary School of the Lermontovsky rural settlement of the Bikinsky municipal district of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The environmental team program is designed for school-age children (grades 5-8). The duration of the program is 18 days, the optimal number of children is 15 people.

The camp is open during the second shift (end of June – beginning of July).

Target:

    Formation of scientific and educational interest in studying nature among schoolchildren; active recreation in nature with elements of education.

    Creating the most favorable conditions for the development of children's creative abilities.

    Formation of the foundations of environmental culture in children through theatrical activities.

Tasks:

– complete active recreation for schoolchildren;
– development of scientific research interest of schoolchildren;
– environmental education of students, the formation of a positive experience of a child’s interaction with the outside world; promote the development of a humane attitude towards nature.
– formation of skills in practical environmentally oriented activities;
- to develop in children the ability to establish partnerships through theatrical activities with environmental content.

Develop mental processes: attention, memory, imagination, thinking, speech, emotional-volitional sphere, as well as intellectual, musical and creative abilities.

    Speech by the propaganda team Decoration of thematic stand

    Elena Anatolyevna Sigareva, head of the environmental team “EKOvek”, Dr. Yarki, Khanty-Mansiysk region.

    Organization of the work of the environmental team

    "EKOvek"

    The village of Yarki is located on the territory of the Khanty-Mansiysk region, which is an area rich in forests, animals and birds. From year to year the environmental situation is getting worse. Due to household and industrial pollution, many plants die and birds disappear. The lack of activities aimed at helping nature, the indifference of the authorities, the low cultural level of the population as a whole, the lack of objective information about the state of natural resources - this is a far from complete list of what makes us think. The need for specific actions has become an objective reality.

    Where to start? What are the goals of the environmental movement?

      Organize students and involve them in the process of environmental movement;

      To form in children not only environmental consciousness, but also an active life position.

      The environmental movement has been around for a long time. But in our case (the village), there is no methodology and experience in organizing the work of teams. In my work I plan to combine educational activities among teenagers and adults in the village; justify the need for the movement of the EKOvek detachment, conduct monitoring of areas adjacent to forests and rivers; create public opinion and awaken interest in environmental problems among village residents as a whole, and enlighten the work of the detachment in the media.

      I had a question: What methods are best to use for environmental education not only of adolescents, but also of adults?

      For me, the practical significance of the work of the environmental team is as follows:

      Creation of a methodology for organizing the work of an environmental team in a single institution;

      Development of a system of measures to maintain cleanliness in the territory of the settlement and the adjacent forest zone and reservoirs;

      Gaining experience in interaction between teenagers and the public;

      Organization of children's leisure in the fresh air (green areas and near water bodies) and in the premises of institutions with environmental content;

      Career guidance work with teenagers, together with representatives of local forestry departments;

      Promoting a healthy lifestyle and observing personal hygiene standards, which is impossible without maintaining cleanliness in your own territories adjacent to your place of residence and the territory of the settlement as a whole;

      Acquiring the skills of proper nutrition with environmentally friendly products;

      Propaganda work to involve the population in compliance with the rules for the use of natural resources.

      I stage: “Introductory”

      At this stage, the manager conducts:

      An educational excursion to the forest, carried out monitoring together with children - identifying the most polluted or polluted streets and areas of the village. Based on the results of the excursion and monitoring, conducts a debate,

      Organizes events with the provision of figures, facts, photographs, literature informing about changes in the health of the population of the region, district, country due to environmental pollution over the past 15 years (this is the age of the children working in the detachment) - how much the production of fish, forest, natural resources has decreased, the number of diseases has increased directly related to environmental pollution;

      Draws up a work plan for the next shift together with teenagers.

      II stage: "Ambulance"

      The main goal of the stage is to unite the children with a single goal into a group with an environmental task.

      Manufacturing:

      Signs with calls

      Leaflets (promoting respect for nature);

      Stands reflecting the dirtiest areas of the village - unauthorized landfills, the fault of which is the residents of this locality;

      Cleanup days held jointly with residents of the locality.

      III stage: “Attention! Danger!"

      As a result of the work to clean up the forest belt, coastline, and village streets, teenagers develop a sense of belonging and concern for the fate of the forest (river, etc.). This unites the children's team, because something appears that unites the children.

      IV stage: “Act!”

      Students draw the main conclusion: one-time events will not solve the problem. At this stage, the main thing is to organize the work of the squad so that the guys themselves begin to search for a solution to the problem. An ecological group is a sum of individuals, children's individualities, each of which can demonstrate its abilities in different types of activities. For example, you might suggest the following actions:

      Organization of regular events for cleaning forests and reservoirs - clean-up days;

      Promotion of a healthy lifestyle and personal hygiene;

      Organization of events (matinees, interactive games) with an environmental focus;

      Preparation of everyday food from environmentally friendly products;

      Creating public opinion.

      V stage: “Analysis of experience”

      This stage not only sums up the work of the squad as a whole. On it, all members of the children's team are ready to make their choice - both professional and ideological.

      For example:

      Organize presentations by children;

      Prepare a speech by the propaganda team;

      Prepare a stand.

      VI stage: “Continuity”

      The work of the environmental team cannot be imagined as complete, because all problems of nature conservation cannot be resolved at once. The experience of older children must be passed on to those who replace them.

      A common cause unites students, creates conditions for mutual responsibility and ownership, and forms an active life position.

      Summing up the work, we can make some generalizations and conclusions. At different stages of the detachment’s work, we will see how the children’s worldview gradually changes.

      Changing the worldview cannot be done by environmental assault alone, although their role is very great. Through research activities (Ecological monitoring), through experience of communication with people (residents, representatives of regional forestry), physical labor, experience in combating philistine inertia and public speaking, they pave the way for a new biocentric worldview.

      You can be sure that children who have gone through such forms of work will grow up to be real individuals, capable of defending their position in life and changing the world that surrounds them for the better.

    The world is facing the threat of global warming and two crises: energy and environmental. Therefore, the main task of society is to prepare environmentally literate people who clearly understand the relationships in the “nature-man-production” system, who are able to foresee the consequences of the impact of production on nature and people.
    A special place in environmental education is given to environmental groups.
    The environmental squad “Green Traveler” of Mezhvodnenskaya secondary school was formed in 2017. This year was declared the Year of Ecology in Russia. The squad included students from grades 7-10. The detachment was headed by eco-leader, 10th grade student Ekaterina Budko.
    During its existence, the environmental squad carried out work aimed at developing environmental competence among schoolchildren, and the following events were organized and carried out:
    - planting shrubs, trees, flowers in the school area;
    - on the coast of Lake Dzharylgach a Green Campaign was carried out to plant forest belts;
    - improvement of monuments to fallen soldiers and fellow villagers, Sailor Yasha;
    - assistance to labor veterans;
    - participation in the campaigns “Freedom from waste”, “Let’s make Crimea clean”, “Primrose”, “Save the junipers of Crimea”, “A second life for paper”.
    In addition, environmental lessons “Earth Day”, “Squirrel Protection Day”, “International Forest Day”, “Osprey - Bird 2018”, “Water and Health”, flash mob, and environmental quizzes were held.
    Working in an environmental group, schoolchildren learn to plan their own activities, navigate in various situations, work in a team, master universal methods of activity, and communication skills. By participating in the work of the environmental team, the children gain positive social experience and develop an active civic position.
    In the discussions that arise during the actions, children are participants in effective methods for studying regional environmental problems with real local environmental conditions, searching for opportunities to solve them, since environmental actions play the role of a kind of tuning fork in the process of forming environmental thinking.
    In addition, the system of work of the environmental team allows you to create an atmosphere of cooperation and interaction between the teacher and students, teaches mutual control and self-control, research techniques, the ability to obtain knowledge, generalize and draw conclusions, influence the emotional sphere of the individual, conduct observations, and involve in solving environmental problems a significant number of people, conduct educational work among the population and students. The development of environmental knowledge, in turn, creates reliable prerequisites for combining training, education and development into a single pedagogical option.
    Thus, environmental education, thanks to the creation of environmental teams, will serve as the basis for the formation of a humanistic-oriented worldview of people and should be universal and continuous.
